April<\/h2>\r\nArtevento Cervia\r\nApril 22 to May 1, 2022:\r\nThe 42th<\/sup> International Kite Festival on the beach of the Adriatic near Rimini. For many years the artist Claudio Capelli and his daughter Caterina have been organizing this beautiful, cosy meeting, including La Notte dei Miracoli. 42\u00b0 Festival Internazionale dell'Aquilone.\r\n\r\n35e<\/sup> Rencontres internationales cerfs-volants Berck-sur-Mer\r\nApril 23 to May 1, 2022:\r\nThe huge kite festival at the Atlantic, unfortunately there's always blowing a strong wind, so nothing for me personnally. But the brut promenade wall and the hotel monoliths are appealing a lot.\r\n
June<\/h2>\r\nHangout Whit Monday\r\nJune 6, 2022:<\/span>\r\nZero wind kites on the Zurich Stadium Wasteland, the \"Stadionbrache\", for those who stayed at home in Zurich. The clever alternative to the return traffic jam on Gotthard. Whit Monday has tradition, there are rather few, but interesting people. From about 2 pm.\r\nTakes place, weather seems to be okay on Monday.\r\n\r\n38th International Kite Fliers Meeting Fan\u00f8\r\nJune 16 to June 19, 2022:\r\nKite meeting on Fan\u00f8 DK. Various interesting workshops, partly with historical kites. Endless flat beaches and kites from all over the world. There are also moments without wind and the traditional kite auction.\r\n
August<\/h2>\r\nKite Festival Sch\u00f6fflisdorf\r\nSunday August 28, 2022:\r\nDrachenfest Sch\u00f6fflisdorf. By S-Bahn from Hardbr\u00fccke 20 minutes from Zurich. The 28th<\/sup> Kite Festival of the Drachenclub Wehntal. The atmosphere is always very pleasant and Horvath often drops by on Sunday.\r\n
September<\/h2>\r\nHangouts Stadionbrache Zurich\r\n<\/span>From mid September Cirque du Soleil on the Stadionbrache.\r\n\r\nDrachenfest H\u00fctten\r\nSeptember 10 and 11, 2022:\r\nOn the gently undulating grass runway of the glider airfield in Schwarzwald. A beautiful place. Alternating with the Donaueschingen Kite Festival, which is expected to be again in 2023. Thanks Volker.\r\n\r\nBasel Kite Festival\r\nOn a Sunday in September:\r\nAn urban meeting in the Park im Gr\u00fcnen, formerly called Park Green-80, afternoon. If you show up early, then there might still be parking spaces, but public transport is definitely the relaxed option. Organized by Dani Wieland, play4you, 11 am \u2013 5 pm.\r\n
October<\/h2>\r\nProbably no Hangouts\r\n<\/span>Until end of October Cirque du Soleil on the Stadionbrache.\r\n\r\nKite Festival Fislisbach\r\nSunday October 23, 2022:\r\nNear Baden, Aargau Switzerland. Drachenplausch.ch traditionally organizes the last kite festival of the year. Christoph Gehrig moderates, including possibly the rare flights of phenomenal Stefan Furter. Unfortunately it's often wet and cold. Normal time again, \"winter time\", will be on Sunday 30.\r\n
November<\/h2>\r\nWorkshops: Kite making with Thomas Horvath\r\n\r\nOrder kites as christmas presents at horvath.ch early, especially in the European Union. The postal services and the customs are usually a bit slower just before Christmas, and Corona isn't over yet.\r\n
December<\/h2>\r\nHangout Stadionbrache Zurich<\/span>\r\nSunday December 4, 2022:<\/span>\r\nThe year is coming to an end, but there is still our traditional Klausfliegen. Get some advantage with thick socks, warm shoes, warm jacket, warm gloves, warm cap, etc. This year modest again in Zurich on the wasteland.\r\n\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Hardturm Stadium was demolished. The grandstand foundations made of charming concrete are framing the now asphalted playing surface and are perfect for hanging around. The spacious place for urban floating.<\/p>\r\n
The whole area will be built over some day, so we hang out a few times again on the stadium wasteland in 2022.<\/p>\r\n
Tram 4 directly from Zurich Main Station. When the sun is shining there is only little shade, so you might want to have some sun protection with you. You are welcome too without a kite, we have usually some with us.<\/p>\r\n
