side of the Tube.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Take care of the two vinyl caps, which hold the 2 spreader carbon rods together.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>A short zero.4 flying line will also be there, if you have ordered one.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Unfold the sail completely and lay it out.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2><span class=\"initial\">2 <\/span>Assembly<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>First assemble the spine of the kite.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The shifting coupling is on the upper part of the spine carbon rod.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Shift the coupling over the lower spine rod down to the stopper.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The Spine is ready now, let's continue with the wings.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" structure down, then up.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Push the upper wing carbon rods downwards until they reach position \"2\".<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Now upwards, to the left in the picture, into the leading edge pockets.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The red dot on the sail is much smaller and black on your kite.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-assembly-4.jpg\" alt=\"Kite assembly step 4: the small aluminum coupling.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The coupling is fixed on the lower short wing part, the insert depth is 10 mm.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>New there are generous cutouts instead of just a hole.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-assembly-5.jpg\" alt=\"Kite assembly step 5: the final position of the wing structure.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>This is the final position of of the wing structure, factory setting.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The X-line is facing the dot on the sail perpendicular to the leading edge.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>By the way: the sail is made of Dyneema Composite Fabric, Icarex and Dacron.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Your kite has now the state of a \"non-tiny\".<\/li>\r\n \t<li>It's not able to lay completely flat, because the whole thing is 3-dimensional.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>That's what the synergetic spreader will form.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-assembly-7.jpg\" alt=\"Kite assembly step 7: connecting the spreader segments together.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Finally, take the 2 segments of the spreader out of the vinyl cap.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The coupling is fixed harder to one segment, here the left one.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Do not lose the cap, as it will hold the 2 spreader segments together when tubing.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The two couplings are now newly made from a precisely turned piece of ABS.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>The built up kite: back view of the connector position.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>This geometry will settle by itself.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The spreader pushes the whole wing structure downwards, slightly.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>The front side of the Ibb tiny 300 looks like this.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>By the z-line, the spine is pulled into a slightly convex bowed geometry.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The wings are pushed apart elastically by the spreader.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>One of the additional caps, which is used to hold the 2 spreader segments together while in the Tube.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Put one or both onto the nose of the kite for flights in generous space.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Remove them for agile floating in confined space.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The smallest cap always stays on the nose plastic part, it fixes the nose tensioning line.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2><span class=\"initial\">3 <\/span>Flight<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<figure style=\"width: 800px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img options:\r\nJust fold the kite as any other and stick it into the tube nose forward, this takes a few seconds.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Or fold it down completely for storing it in the 300 mm Tube. While a storm is arising, this act is more convenient in the hotel.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2><span class=\"initial\">4 <\/span>make it tiny<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-disassembly-1.jpg\" alt=\"Kite disassembly step 1: the wing rods moved out of the leading edge pockets.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>The spreader is in its 2 halves again and they are hold together securely by the nose cap.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The wing carbon rods are moved down through the leading edge slots and then up to the position shown here.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Any hard component, here the rods, will need to be parallel to the spine all the time.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>You may also take out the 2 upper wing rods completely, while the short wingtip-rods still need to be parallel.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-disassembly-4.jpg\" alt=\"Kite disassembly step 4: the Dyneema sail folded, matching the factory fold.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Shift the spine coupling up, until the lower part of the spine is free.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Now, you can fold the whole sail to the half length.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Some users prefer to completely remove the leading edges out of the kite, but leave the short rods rather in the wingtips.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-disassembly-5.jpg\" alt=\"Kite disassembly step 5: the sail folded along the spine area of the kite.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Fold the whole sail to the half width, now ready for rolling.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The reference length is the spine area.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-disassembly-6.jpg\" alt=\"Kite disassembly step 6: the kite is rolled completely, ready for storing in the Tube.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>The kite is rolled quite loosely, that's sufficient for the \u00f8 50 mm tube.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Your complete urban zero wind kite gear is now ready for tubing.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2><span class=\"initial\">5 <\/span>tubing<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-tubing-1.jpg\" alt=\"Kite tubing step 1: the Tube cap holding one end of the kite together.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>I like to store the Ibb tiny 300 kite, as any others, from the left side into the Tube.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>While the Tube cap is holding the kite together, close it.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-tubing-2.jpg\" alt=\"Kite tubing step 2: a short part of the flying line remains visible when the tube is closed.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Close the Tube on the right side.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>If you store a 20 m zero.4 line with the kite, you may want it to be visible.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>That's the minimal, yet complete urban floating equipment.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/horvath.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/tiny-kite-tubing-3.jpg\" alt=\"Kite tubing step 3: the tube, the flying line and the rolled kite.\" width=\"800\" height=\"479\" \/>\r\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\r\n \t<li>Sometimes I just keep the spine, the wings and the spreader as they are, and store the kite nose-forward in the tube.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>That's when I'm heading back to the hotel  in a rush or when the kite is wet and needs to be layed out during the night anyway.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<hr class=\"double\" \/>\r\n<p class=\"quite-big\">Enjoy your marvelous flight\u2026<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
