The manufacturing times of the kites are shown at the bottom of the product pages. After finishing, we will pack and ship the same day.
Shipping by Swiss Post international

Shipping of the kites is done via Swiss-Post ext. link by priority, including insurance and tracking. Once the package was shipped, you get the tracking number.
Typical shipping times, from completion of your kite:
- Europe: 3-6 business days
- North America: 4-7 business days
- Japan and the world: 5-8 business days
From fall 2026, every kite has the same low shipping costs and will be sent via regular international mail. If a long flying line is included, it will be packed in our sturdy, secure triple layer cardboard box.
EU Customs Reform 2026, e.g. France
Starting November 1, the new 2026 EU customs reform will take over, and orders up to € 150 will no longer be possible at the kite lab. As far as our kites are concerned, nothing significant will change - except for our higher administrative workload. However, it will also cost our customers a few Euros more: probably € 3 per item to the customs office, the exact amount isn’t known yet.
Shipping within Switzerland
We ship your order by A-Post priority, which is free for any kite from the kite lab. The package will arrive next day, no tracking.
Pick up in Zurich: If you like to pick up the kite in our atelier, choose this option at the checkout. As soon as the items are ready, we will contact you. The best times to pick up are around evening.
