Urban flow edition
I'll be back spectra laminate urban flow edition. Hyper light colorless translucent Dyneema Composite Fabric: At a flying weight of 11 g the Ibb is the lightest zero-wind kite anyway. It flies almost itself, floating calmly with a spectacular slowness.
The kite was awarded the first price in the Hochparterre Design Award in 2015.
Urban rhythm edition
I'll be back spectra laminate urban rhythm edition. Blue, green or silver translucent Dyneema Composite Fabric: With 14 g the rather agile ibb and very sturdy. This version is a bit more reactive. Many like this behavior, they say the kite is stearable with an agreable control: freestyle.
Dyneema colors
Dyneema Composite Fabric white is constructed with colorless fibers between the mylar films. It resembles the lighter material of the "flow edition". But since the fibres are a bit stronger, they absorb more light and appear a bit whitish. Also to avoid confusion, we call it "white" instead of "clear".
The green Dyneema Composite Fabric has yellowish-green layers of mylar and every couple of feet stripes with a slightly higher saturation appear. The colour is complex, a touch of "beige" is also present. The laminate is similarly translucent to that of the other editions.
Blue Dyneema Composite Fabric has the highest color saturation of these editions. Also the intense stripes are clearly visible and quite irregular, say: beautiful. No longer available from the manufacturer.
In the Dyneema Composite Fabric silver the Dyneema fibres are a tad darker and the mylar layers slightly grey, again with the typical irregular stripes. The material is similarly translucent as the white, blue or green edition, but shimmers more under hard direct lighting. It looks like silver.
Standard and tiny
The tiny version floats exactly the same as the standard version, the only difference is the "packmass" aka the length of the tube: 300 mm vs 600 mm. Without thinking too much, an I'll be back tiny is always with you. However, as a tiny consists of more parts, some of them loose, it requires much more effort for assembly and packing back into the tube. Only consider the complication if it really has to be ultra-compact.
The compact kite loves to float in the office too.
Any edition of the kite is versatile: from indoor to soaring on thermals. You can fly 100 m high in light wind with a Zero.4 line. Packed in the handy black Tube, our smallest – but not that small – kite is always with you, ready for floating anywhere.
The characteristic can be adjusted for flights in a smaller office or a broader studio. With an unbreakable frame and simple assembling this featherlight kite is ideal for kids too: It really flies.
Dyneema Composite Fabric is expensive and not always available. Anyway, we try to have the material in our stock for at least one or two editions.
